This escape room trigger will detect a photoelectric laser when it hits the sensor. Use in an Escape Room as part of a puzzle where patrons must activate a laser that is aimed at a specific target. This sensor is not advised for use with hand-held or aimed lasers (it works best when the laser is in a fixed position). See this sensor if you want to have a hand-held or aimable laser.

Will the Photoelectric Laser Detecting Sensor work with a laser pointer?

It will detect the laser from a laser pointer, but it is very specific about the angle of entry, so it is not ideal to use these sensors with a hand-held laser pointer. We recommend using this sensor for use with hand-held laser pointers.
